This research paper was motivated by the recent release of Olly Debugger v2.01 and its new debugging features regarding the use of different instructions as software breakpoints and its new stepping feature by using hardware breakpoints.
Through this paper I conduct some tests over the new version of Olly in order to identify flaws that can be potentially used in the future for the creation of new anti-reversing tricks or the mutation of existing ones against the new versions of Olly Debugger.
